Description
The KFD2-STC5-1 is an intrinsically safe security barrier and transmitter power supply module designed for hazardous-area signal interfacing. It powers 2-wire or 3-wire SMART
transmitters and provides galvanic isolation between field devices in explosive zones and safe-area control systems. By conditioning and isolating 4–20 mA
analog signals while allowing HART / SMART communication, it ensures safe and reliable data transmission
from process instruments to PLCs, DCS, or monitoring equipment.
